PASTOR KELLY STANLEY, PASTOR Pastor Kelly became pastor of Southside August 1999. He is married to Audrey, who is a native born Wilmingtonian. Pastor Kelly, or PK as we call him, has a B.S. from Campbell University, a Masters in Religious Education from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary and a Masters of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. PK & his wife Audrey have two West Highland puppies that are from the same litter. Their names are McAlister (after the restaurant) and Katie (named after Katie Scarlett O’Hair from God With The Wind). They have a kitten named Libby (named after Libby Hill’s Seafood in Greensboro, NC—PK’s home town). PK loves aviation and flying aircraft. He loves the outdoors, reading, hiking, jet skiing, the beach, teaching/preaching, anything made by Apple, PS3 as well as many more things too numerous for this brief bio. PK wants to learn to surf and scuba dive. PK & Audrey were married on June 28, 1986. They are in the process of adopting two infants—one from Brazil and one from Guatemala. His wife Audrey is a public school teacher of 29 years. She teaches kindergarten at Freeman School of Engineering.
Derik T. Davis and bride Allison began attending Southside in the Spring of 2004. Derik joined the staff in October of 2004. He and Allison share a passion for seeing children and teens live for Christ. His degree in counseling and hers in education have allowed them to impact countless lives for Christ at Southside and in two previous ministries in North Carolina. Left over from his "happy Appy" days, this Appalachian graduate enjoys hiking and playing guitar. Jacob, the joy of their lives is currently in elementary school. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Newport, NC native, Allen Baltezore graduated in 2008 from UNCW with a degree in Environmental Biology. During his time here as a college student, Allen met and married his wife Emma and through a twist of fate, the two eventually landed on the doorstep of Southside Baptist and the rest, as they say is history. Allen is currently the Assistant Worship Director and is directing the Blend Ministry. Along with Emma, Allen has been involved in the 180 Youth Ministry for the past three and a half years. His hobbies include, fishing, reading, and spending time at the beach with his wife. Working one on one with people is what he enjoys most about his position at Southside and is anxious to see what God has in store for him. |
